What can i do with EFL, the short TEFL course?

Okay so i am currently undertaking a EFL course which is a shortened TEFL course. I am doing this as part of my job so i can do EFL lessons with International students visit our activity centre. I am wondering if after i leave this country would i be able to undertake a job teaching English abroad or weather id need the full TEFL qualification?
